词语用法：

stop可用作及物动词，也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时，接名词、代词、动名词或what从句作宾语，用动名词作宾语时其前可加名词、代词的属格或宾格表示动名词的逻辑主体。

stop用作不及物动词时，其后可接动词不定式作目的状语，也可以在stop后用and加动词原形。

stop sb v -ing和stop sb from v -ing两种结构意思相近，前者多用于表示“制止某人正在做的动作”，后者多用于表示“阻止某人尚未进行的动作”，但并不绝对。

stop的现在进行时可以表示按计划或打算要进行的动作，此时句中一般有表示将来的时间状语或特定的上下文。stop后可接形容词still表示“停住不动”。

听见门铃声,她停止洗碗了。

stop doing sth 是对的。
stop doing sth 代表请立即停止你现在正在做的事情。
例如： Please stop laughing at me. 请你不要笑我了。
He stopped playing that tacky music. 他已经没有放那首俗气的音乐了。
