Ada,
I attended a heated debating
with the motion, ‘keeping animals in zoos is wrong’. There is a widespread
concern over the issue whether animals should be kept in zoos or not.
The negative side emphasized that animals
should be kept in zoos. In their views there were two factors contributing to
this attitude as follows: in the first place, it provided chances for people to
see wildlife. Furthermore, it also developed people’s love for animals and
nature. So it went without saying that animals should be kept in zoos.
On the other hand, the positive side
hold the idea that keeping animals in zoos is a wrong choice. In their point of
view, it was a waste of money and labor to keep animals in zoos. In addition,
it would also damage the balance of nature. Therefore, there was no doubt that
keeping animals in zoos is wrong.
Finally, the positive side who argue
that keeping animals in zoos is wrong won.
As far as I’m concerned, we’d better
protect animals by some friendly means. For example, we can build some forests
to make animals live freely. We must also protect wild animals from being
killed by human beings themselves.
Yours,
Cameron
