Abstract: Hsi Mu-jung is a well-known artist in Taiwan, a well-known essayist and poet. Her works include more than forty kinds of poetry, essays and picture albums. Her essays put beauty, truth, love and reason together. They have no sense of the magnificence but only skilful hands cutting ordinary things. There is soft telling of kinship and love. It's exceedingly sentimental. There is also understanding of her life and others' which is full of phillosophy. Together these put down the unforgettable memories in life.
